Creation and Development History

The NPServers project began in 2016 as a fun way to play games with friends 🎮, inspired by LastTask by Zakviel. What started as a small side project soon grew into something more significant and original.

Growth Phase 🚀

A major turning point occurred in 2017 with the arrival of Alex Faint and his community. This influx of attention accelerated the growth of the project, and soon, it expanded rapidly. A custom server core was developed for enhanced optimization, boosting both server stability and the overall gameplay experience.

The custom server core helped significantly reduce latency issues, improving server response times by up to 30% during peak traffic!

Decline and Closure 🛑

However, as time went on, the project began to lose momentum. The player base gradually dwindled, and by 2021, NPServers was shut down due to declining interest.

Attempts to Revive 🔄

In 2022, an attempt was made to breathe new life into the project. Investments were poured into the development of custom plugins, mods, new game modes, and mod packs. Despite these efforts, the project failed to regain its former popularity, and NPServers was permanently closed the same year.
